Pre-Applied Thread Sealants and Threadlockers:
In order to lock or seal thread fits, our company provides a range of pre-applied coatings, such as “Precote®”, which eliminate other sealers or mechanical devices during the assembling process.
All the thread sealing and threadlocking pre-application are marked by a different colour apt to ease the inspection and the identification of the product.
These coatings are divided in four different groups according to their functions:
strong locker, to hinder the loosening caused by high stresses;
medium locker, to hinder the loosening caused by medium stresses;
low locker, to hinder the loosening caused by low stresses;
sealer, to prevent leakage of liquids..
Nota: usually the low threadlocking process is “stamp” applied (from 90° to 120°), but if it is spread over 360° it prevents leakage of liquids too (at the 1° screwing only).
