Where a joint cannot fail
The common thread is always the same: pressure, temperature and corrosion. For each industry we choose the fastener and material suited to its operating conditions, from the flange stud bolt to the wellhead bonnet bolt.
Oil & gas and petrochemicals
Flange stud bolting, valve components, forged bonnet bolts for wellheads and screws for H₂S service certified to NACE standards, in high- and low-temperature steels, duplex, super duplex and nickel alloys.
Aerospace
Screws, rivets, clips and other fasteners for ground and flight applications, in titanium, aluminium, stainless steel and superalloys such as A286, Inconel® 718 and Waspaloy®, compliant with AMS specifications.
Same care, different conditions
Energy
Fasteners and small parts for turbines and high temperatures: 12-point screws, also with drilled head, 12-point lock nuts, studs with cylindrical nuts, special parts to drawing. Materials: ISO 898-1 property class 10.9, ASTM A193 B16 vanadium steel, ASTM A453 Gr. 660 and A437 B4B high-temperature steels, AISI 410 martensitic stainless steel.
Chemical industry and plants
Nickel alloys for the most aggressive environments: Hastelloy® C276 for sulphuric and hydrochloric acid, Hastelloy® C22 for strong oxidants, Monel® for hydrofluoric acid, Inconel® for high temperatures and corrosion, Incoloy® against oxidation, carburisation and creep.
Food, winemaking, taps and valves
AISI 304 (A2) and AISI 316 (A4, with molybdenum) stainless steel for drinking water and for the food, winemaking and pharmaceutical industries.
Automotive
Standard screws and screws to drawing, also for automated assembly, with optical camera sorting down to defect rates of a few PPM; heat-treated carbon steel, zinc flake and electroplated coatings free of hexavalent chromium.
Earthmoving, agricultural machinery, environmental plants
High- and very-high-strength carbon steel screws, with heat and surface treatments, for excavators, loaders, tractors, combine harvesters and waste and water treatment plants.
